St. Paul AME Church was founded in 1902 and has long been a staple in the Eastwick and Elmwood community. Over the years we continue to evolve in both ministry and mission. Our goal is to meet the spiritual and physical needs of the community. We have found a way to utilize over one hundred years of experience to provide contemporary and relevant services to all members of our community. All are welcome regardless of race, religion, ethnicity or creed.
Join us on any given Sunday and you will find an exciting and open worship experience. No pressure and no expectations. Worship privately from the comfort of your home or publicly in an experience that fits any personality. Maybe, you are interested in learning and study. Our Wednesday Night War Room is a Bible study on Wednesday nights at 7 PM. It is virtual and provides an interactive learning environment for students of all levels, utilizing Facebook and chat options.
Finally, the church is not just open on Sundays. On Thursdays, you can visit and find our thriving food pantry giving away free food and clothing to families. We also have community resources available during our food pantry, covering a wide range of topics. From energy conservation to senior services to youth education resources, our partnerships have allowed us to bring not just the Word of God, but tools for successful living, as well. Join our ministry or simply just come to visit us when you are in the area… at the place where people meet purpose.
